PORTFOLIO
Expertly crafting immersive landscapes, Jon brings cinematic visions to life
Garden at The Barn
Assigned the responsibility of constructing a fully developed 800 sq/ft vegetable garden within a three-day timeframe during the middle of October. This undertaking not only presented a challenge due to the out-of-season availability of seasonal plants, but it also necessitated the sourcing of corn, pepper plants, and other vegetables that are typically not sold in their mature form.
Modern Twist
In response to the task of transforming an unadorned stucco wall into a serene and organic outdoor space, Jon and his team strategically incorporated 6-8 feet of Arborvitaes, Ivy, and a diverse range of shrubs. These elements were strategically placed to harmoniously blend with the surrounding local landscaping, resulting in a seamless integration of nature
Concrete Jungle
Assigned the responsibility of maintaining the vitality of plants for a duration of 6 months on a concrete parking surface. Temperatures fluctuate between exceeding 100 degrees & dropping below freezing. Adherence to meticulous care practices, including watering and fertilization, coupled with limited replacements, enables cost-effective management of the overall greenery.
Wedding on the Hudson
Crafted a visually appealing wedding ceremony that incorporated a harmonious blend of artificial and real flowers. The project was executed with a limited workforce and a budget that did not exceed $4000.
Bog at the Pond
Twelve floating islands were constructed to replicate a peat bog. Peat bogs are predominantly found in Maine or Ireland. The project involved manufacturing wooden decks that float, anchored down and then dressed with various grasses, real moss & hay to resemble an authentic bog.
Baseball Field Restoration
An overgrown baseball field required edging, leveling, and removal of 200 sq/ft of overgrown infield to achieve symmetry. New clay was introduced to impart the field with a reddish hue.
